Max finished his AKC Champion on Saturday, May 28, 2005 under judge Klaus Anselm! Max started and finished his trek to the top at the Tanana Valley Kennel Club shows in Fairbanks, AK! A big thank you to Mary Haas for handling Max to most of his wins! UPDATE: View his picture here.Max is our first purebred dog and our first champion!
Also at the shows this weekend, cousin Echo (NorthFace's Codetalker) received two majors. Littermate Atigun (Ch. Subartika NorthFace Atigun) was Best of Breed and took a Group 2nd! And, the icing on the cake: Max's sire, Will (BIS Am/Can Ch. Wolf River's Iron Will), was awarded Best Veteran In Show! (Don't worry if you don't know what those mean, it's all good and exciting!)

Max was WD/BOW under Mr. J. D. Jones today at the Alaska Kennel Club dog show. He now has 13 points! The picture is posted here.Congratulations to Lucas (Wolf River's Lucas of Northface) for his win on Saturday, and to Echo (Northface's Code Talker) for her wins on Saturday and Sunday!

On Sunday, November 7, Max was WD/BOW under judge Sally Vogel for 1 point! Win picture will be posted as soon as it's received.

Max was Winners Dog/Best of Winners for 3 points under judge Thomas Gomez at the Alaska Kennel Club shows! He now has 10 points toward his championship.And congratulations to family members Ch. Wolf River's Night Flight for completing her championship with all majors on Saturday, and Chelestina's Egikik for earning a 3 point major on Sunday.

Max competed in the 12-18 month Dog class at the National Specialty in Riverside, CA on October 23, 2003. He finished third in his class! His littermate, Subartika NorthFace Atigun, finished first in the class! Thank you to judge Mrs. Denny Kodner!
